The Dr. Infrared Heater Portable Space Heater has a unique design that might not suit everyone’s taste or room decor. With its wood casing and square design, it resembles a vintage speaker. 

The system features a Dual Heating System - The infrared quartz tube and PTC with 12hr automatic shut-off timer. It easily can heat up a large room with Auto Energy Saving mode with High and Low features. 

For best safety, it comes with Tip-over protection, and Overheat protection.

Aesthetics and minor design flaws aside, the Dr. Infrared Heater Portable Space Heater throws off a lot of heat for a small machine. It has a dual heating system, combining infrared heat and convection heat to distribute heat throughout a large space.

When we tested DR-968 Infrared Portable Space Heater we were impressed with the performance and the ability of the 1500-Watt Dr. Infrared Heater Portable Space Heater to heat our large primary bedroom evenly. 

The temperature setup at 70°F was reached in less than a half-hour and the room heated up evenly even with outdoor temperatures near freezing. At to 70°F the heater turned off and remained on standby mode until more heat was needed.
